These terms govern access to and use of the Sampark SDK, the Bodha Drive app, the Hastle Free backend, and this website (together, the “Services”), provided by Sastram Labs (“Sastram Labs,” “we,” “us”). By integrating the SDK, using Bodha Drive, or accessing Hastle Free, you agree to these terms. Where a signed commercial agreement exists between Sastram Labs and a customer, that agreement governs; these terms fill any gaps and apply to anyone using the Services without a separate signed agreement.
Subject to these terms and any applicable order form, Sastram Labs grants customers a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to integrate and use the Sampark SDK and connected services within their own applications, for the term of the applicable agreement. No rights are granted beyond what’s expressly stated here or in a signed agreement. We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Services, including all underlying code, models, and documentation.
You (and your end users, where applicable) agree not to:
If you integrate Sampark or operate Hastle Free for your own fleet, insurance, or consumer program, you’re responsible for obtaining any consent, providing any notice, and meeting any regulatory obligation that applies to collecting and scoring driver data in your markets. Sastram Labs processes data on your behalf and per your instructions, consistent with our Privacy Policy and any signed data-processing agreement.
We work to keep the Services reliable, including surfacing known failure modes rather than hiding them — see how we test and calibrate before a program goes live. Absent a signed SLA, the Services are provided without an uptime guarantee. Features described as in development or in beta may change materially before general availability.
Fees for Sampark SDK and Hastle Free are set out in the applicable order form or commercial agreement, not on this page. Bodha Drive is free to download and use, with no subscription required.
Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that detection or scoring will be error-free or uninterrupted on every device — we publish our known failure modes and calibration process precisely because no telematics SDK is perfect on every phone.
To the extent permitted by law, Sastram Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid to us for the Service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose, except where a signed agreement states otherwise.
You agree to indemnify and hold Sastram Labs harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these terms, or your failure to obtain required driver consent or regulatory clearance for your program.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for material breach of these terms, non-payment under an applicable order, or conduct that creates legal or security risk. Customers with a signed agreement are governed by the termination terms in that agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive — including limitation of liability and indemnification — will continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless a signed agreement specifies a different governing law or forum.
We’ll update this page when these terms change, and update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance, except where a signed agreement requires a different process for amendment.
